Members of the I Am Roses Design Team created a number of projects to help inspire you. Here's my project:

I created a vintage St. Patrick's Day card using the Printery collection which has lovely vintage green tones. At the center of the card is a fun window cut that I made with one of my new Spellbinders dies by Heartfelt Creations. I fussy cut images from the paper collection and some vintage St. Patty's Day images from a digi download that I purchased on Etsy. For the gold, I spritzed the card with some shimmery Lindy's in Gossamer Gold. For more shimmer, I applied glitter glue to the Shamrocks and the little pink flower vines.

And for the flowers, OMG, I went with IAR minis on this card to make a big impact. They are absolutely ADORABLE. I used the:

We’re Having a Heat Wave, A Tropical Heat Wave

Can you believe it’s almost March?! Yikes, the year is flying by again! I am really longing for some sunny summer days, especially after working on my newest project. I just LOVE the summer. Although here in New Jersey, the weather has been unseasonably warm and enjoyable, more like spring than winter. I can’t complain too much ;)

I Am Roses has these adorable stamens that I love, and I wanted to use them to create some calla lilies for a project.

So I created this tropical layout of a photo of me and my hubby Erick. I used Graphic 45’s vibrant vintage Tropical Travelogue paper collection. See the little calla lilies. Aren’t they cute? And it was SUPER easy to make them. I made them by clipping one petal off an IAR hydrangea petal, laying the stamen in the center of the clipped petal, and shaping and then gluing the petal around the stamen to look like a calla lily. Cute and simple…. LOL

I had so much fun creating lilies and working with the Tropical Travelogue paper, I decided to make some postcards too. Making postcards is super fun, and I had a blast creating these tropical vintage inspired postcards.

Hopefully this brought a little summer fun to you early this year. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. A list with links of all the I Am Roses flowers I used in these projects is below.
