I Am Roses Color Challenge

Are you ready for our first I Am Roses Color Challenge? It’s happening right now. Here’s your chance to win some of the fabulous flowers that our Design Team uses. Head on over to the I Am Roses Challenge Blog for more details and challenge rules.

Here's the card I created for the challenge:

I created this card using papers from Pion's Waiting for Santa II paper collection. Actually, I used scraps left over from my Russian Holiday mini album. The soft color scheme of the papers was perfect for this challenge. The stamped image is a gal from The Greeting Farm. I colored her with my Copics and paper pieced her coat and boots. The holly doily is from a Spellbinders die. Love the die.

For the flowers, I used:

Card Share

I've been working on a lot of mini albums and altered boxes lately, so it was so much fun to break out my Copic markers to do some coloring and make new cards.

For this card, I colored up a new stamp from Some Odd Girl. She's so beautiful and reminds me so much of Bette Davis. For the background, I crumpled up some 7 Gypsies tissue paper and fussy cut a floral doily image from Websters Pages Winter Fairy Tales collection. For the flowers, I used the Pale Lavender Gardenia from I Am Roses. They are so beautiful and such a pretty soft color. I also used some tiny rose buds, green leaves and a S10 flower. New to my stash are the pale green maple leaves and they are absolutely gorgeous! Check them out. Links for all the flowers are below.

For this card, I colored a stamp from The Greeting Farm's Miss Anya Hats Off collection. I love this stamp and as she is perfectly suited for a Parisian themed card like this one. For this card, I used the My Minds Eye Paris & Co. stack that Pea from Whimsical Endeavors had gifted me in our cigar box swap. The paper is so beautiful and I just love it!! Thank you SOOOO MUCH Pea! The paper has some pretty large flowers that I fussy cut, layered and popped for dimension. I used 7 Gygpsies stamps, a doily I cut with my Spellbinders die, some Prima bling, and a lollipop flower that I made. For the sentiment, I applied Glossy Accents over the word Merci since this is a thank you card.

Thanks for checking out my blog today and happy crafting! Here are the flower links:

Carriage Collection Mini Album Die Cut Kit - Now Available

I am pleased to share with you Teddyboo's newest mini album collection — the Carriage Collection — is now available.

I adore carriages. Don't we all?! They are just so beautiful and romantic. My newest collection, the Carriage Collection, is perfect for a variety of projects — princess, Valentine's Day, first date, engagement, wedding, vintage or Parisian-inspired. The carriage design itself is versatile and will also work well with masculine and grunge papers.

Additionally, Teddyboo added DCWV's Preppy Princess paper collection to our paper upgrade options as these cute papers will work perfectly with our carriage die to create an album that's oh-so-pretty for your little princess or princesses. Other paper upgrade options in the shop that will work well with this die include Prima Printery, Recollections/MME Portobello Road, Western Romance ... well all the papers would look great with this super cute die cut. ;)

An interesting note about this album — it can be bound from the left side or the top, making it a great choice for flip style albums, like calendars.

For pricing or to place an order, please click on the Shop My Teddyboo link in the upper right hand corner of this web page.

If you have any questions, just send me a PM.

Happy crafting!!!
